Dear Rev. Coleman,
Here’s an odd question for you. I love reading your blog on MN weddings, and I was wondering if you could answer a question for me? We will have a LOT of children at our Minneapolis wedding because we have so many cousins and siblings with kids. We know of a couple babysitters, but they’ll be attending our wedding. The wedding venue can provide a room, but they don’t have any babysitters, and I don’t even know where to start to find this kind of service. Do you know of anyone who could help with kid-sitting / babysitting at a Minneapolis, MN wedding?
Bride with LOTS of relatives
Congratulations on your wedding, and on having such a huge, loving family! I agree, kids can get bored at wedding receptions, and it’s wonderful that you want to keep them occupied and happy. I recommend Charlotte’s Web Event Sitters in Minneapolis, MN. My friend, Charlotte Williams, helps run this event and wedding babysitting service (or bar mitzfahs, , and I think you’d love her. She creates a special “Kid Zone” in one of the rooms at the wedding reception venue, and then makes sure there’s enough babysitters so the kids are happy, interested, and have a good time.
- Liability insurance coverage
- Babysitters that are First Aid/CPR Certified
- Patient, calm, experienced babysitters who can care for children of all ages
- Supervision of children’s meals
Charlotte’s Web can handle up to 100 children, will travel anywhere in the Minneapolis or St. Paul Minnesota area, and will take care of everything at your wedding, so you and the parents don’t have to. Nice, eh?
I hope this helps!
