Frank Stone Gallery in NE Minneapolis, MN
Question:
Hello Rev. Coleman,
I have found your site and enjoy the Minneapolis wedding venue reviews you provide. My fiance and I are interested in hosting a wedding/reception in the NE Minneapolis, MN area and are wondering if any of the art studios host events like this? We have attended the NE art crawl year-after-year and have been in several sites that may work.
Do you know some contacts or where to look for planning a wedding in this area?
Thank you for your time,
Sincerely,
Arty Bride
Answer:
Dear AB,
Ooh, what a great idea! A NE Minneapolis art gallery wouldn’t cater the event itself, of course, but I think they’d love to rent out the space, and art galleries can be great spot for wedding receptions (or even ceremonies, depending on your needs and wishes). Just make sure that it’s okay to have alcohol there…for instance, they may require a security guard or hiring the services of a Minneapolis police officer.
You could then hire a caterer for food and alcohol like Fabulous Catering, hire a rental service like AARCEE for tables, chairs, etc., a DJ like Troy Ackerman for the music, and you’d be good to go.
Here’s a list of many of the NE Minneapolis art galleries with addresses, and phone numbers.
I hope this helps!
Warmly,
Rev. Tomkin
